About Michael
I make the strategy clear, the story useful, and the work accountable.

I’m a senior marketing leader for organizations that need the whole system to work together: brand and demand, creative and analytics, customer insight and sales reality.
I lead at two altitudes.
At 30,000 feet, I clarify the audience, positioning, priorities, operating model, budget, and measures that matter. On the ground, I help teams turn that direction into campaigns, content, experiences, enablement, and the thousand practical decisions behind good work.
I’ve built and led teams as large as seven, with experience managing publicists, event professionals, social and email specialists, copywriters, coordinators, interns, shared operations talent, and agency partners. I adapt the model to the business—building an internal team where the capability should live and using specialist vendors where they create leverage.
I’ve owned marketing budgets at Paragon, Deseret Book, Xyngular, Mesa Systems, and Boostability. That scope included four businesses at Paragon after helping launch mortgage, career-resources, and real-estate subsidiaries, and four more at Mesa: Mesa Moving and Storage, Mesa Logistics, Odyssey Relocation, and startup NextGen.
I’ve also led three generations of HubSpot implementation: establishing automation after building Xyngular’s first digital marketing department, deploying Enterprise HubSpot across Mesa’s four companies, and connecting workflows, AI-supported efficiencies, behavior signals, and sales follow-up at Boostability.
I care about growth, but I also care how growth is built: honest messaging, useful experiences, resilient teams, and marketing that sales and leadership can trust.
Alongside corporate leadership, I’ve consulted on social strategy for Bacon Work and Facteus, and work on the websites and marketing for Work Hard Travel BIG and Makoa Leis with my family. Explore consulting and business-building projects.
Strategic direction.
Human leadership.

“Michael implemented HubSpot across multiple brands, which greatly improved our marketing efforts… He is a great leader and collaborator.”
Different businesses.
One through-line.
Turn audience understanding into a clear story, then build the operating system that carries it into market.
Owned budget; managed a marketing coordinator, partnered with a shared HubSpot administrator, and led the digital-advertising vendor supporting lead generation while unifying positioning, lifecycle, and sales enablement.
Owned strategy and budgets for Mesa Moving and Storage, Mesa Logistics, Odyssey Relocation, and NextGen; led a coordinator and specialist vendors while deploying Enterprise HubSpot across all four companies.
Built the first digital marketing department—social, email, and two copywriters—owned the Communications and Digital Marketing budget, led SEO and content vendors, and helped produce a $1M-plus sales day.
Expanded a viral franchise into an evergreen content engine and built a company-defining SaaS launch that connected PR, digital campaigns, events, and sales follow-up.
Led two publicists, two event professionals, and up to two interns; owned the department budget and directed company PR, social media, author and artist training, and Tabernacle Choir social and product promotion.
Built the marketing team to seven, owned strategy and budgets across four businesses, and helped launch mortgage, career-resources, and real-estate subsidiaries after the relocation company’s growth.
Marketing should make the business easier to understand—and easier to choose.
